Trip Itinerary


At 7:30 a.m., we will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to the port, where you will board a motorboat to begin your journey. Our first stop is the renowned Uros Islands, where the Uros people reside on floating islands made of totora reeds. Experience their unique way of life and witness their fascinating traditions. After approximately 3 hours of navigation, we will reach Amantaní Island, where you will be divided into smaller groups to stay with local families. You will have the opportunity to hike to the mountaintop (4150 meters) to see the Pachamama and Pachatata temples and immerse yourself in the islanders’ traditional customs. Enjoy lunch and dinner provided by your host family.


After breakfast at 8:00 a.m., we will head back to the boat to continue our journey. After a 1-hour sail, we will arrive at Taquile Island, known for its inhabitants’ distinctive attire and renowned hand-woven fabrics, recognized as UNESCO Cultural Heritage. Take in the breathtaking landscape and enjoy walks on the island. A typical lunch will be served at a local restaurant. After spending approximately 3 hours on the island, we will return to Puno, with an estimated arrival time of 4:00 p.m.
